Summit Contracting Relocates Osmond Facility Employees to Norfolk
(Norfolk, N.E.) Nov. 4, 2024 — In an effort to ensure high-quality customer service, promote team collaboration, and improve operational efficiency, leaders from Summit Contracting announced they will be relocating the five employees who currently work at the Osmond facility to their Norfolk office. The Osmond location will be closing effective Dec. 31, 2024.
“At Summit Contracting, relationships are at the core of what we do, and this relocation is designed to strengthen the partnership we’ve built within our team as well as with our customers, vendors and communities,” said Jerad Hutchens, Summit Contracting President. “Moving employees to Norfolk will allow us to bring our talented and knowledgeable team together under one roof, creating a more efficient operation that will benefit those we serve.”
Employees were informed of the decision in early October. Leaders understand the impact a change like this may have on the town of Osmond, which is why Summit Contracting remains dedicated to serving the area and staying involved in the community.
“We’re more committed to customers than ever,” said Hutchens “We’re introducing a parts delivery service to area farms, helping customers save time and resources, which reinforces our commitment to helping the agricultural community, even those who haven’t been our customers before. Through this service, we’ll deliver parts right to customer’s doors, strengthening their experience and ability to be efficient in their own operation.”
