Two Nebraska Farmers Share About Their Summit Experience
When Duane Wollenburg and his son Adam wanted to build a new grain system for their operation near DeWitt, Nebraska, they knew exactly who they wanted to call.
“We called Summit for the job because I knew about their dedication and the work they do,” Duane said. “I’m glad we decided to work with them.”
The Wollenburgs, who grow mainly corn and soybeans, hired Summit to build a grain system that includes four grain bins, a grain tower and dryer. They wanted a system that would provide harvest efficiency, safety, more storage capacity, and give them the ability to capitalize on grain markets throughout the year.
“Thanks to Summit, we’ve been able to achieve our objectives for putting up the grain system,” Adam said. “Plus we have peace of mind with this grain system because of the technology it has. There are sensors that allow us to check our grain quality and condition on our phones at any time.”
When the crews were onsite, Duane and Adam were impressed by their work ethic and enjoyed having them around.
“The crews were great to work with,” Duane said. “They were here to put in the time until the job was done. I appreciated their openness to work through different ideas and they were fun to be around.”
“I think my favorite part about Summit was the people we got to work with,” Adam said. “The crews were great to hang out with, but they also do quality work and have great business minds as well. We hope to work with them again in the future.”
